Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy

By making a purchase on our Website, you acknowledge and agree to adhere to this Return, Refund and Cancellation Policy (“Policy”),which is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Use.

For your reference, we have included a summary of our Return, Refund and Cancellation Policy:
1. Returns and replacements of unused products will be accepted in the following circumstances for prepaid orders:
a. Physically damaged Product delivered;
b. Where the complete Product has not been delivered;
c. Where the Product is different from description on the Website;
d. Wrong quantity received; and
e. Product delivered post its expiration date.


If the Product was purchased using the cash on delivery (COD) option, we shall not be required to accept the return or exchange of the Product. It is clarified that if an order is placed on the Website using the cash on delivery (COD) option, we reserve the right to accept your return/exchange requests only in exceptional cases.

2. Refunds for return orders will be accepted only if:
a. Upon inspection of the returned Product, the Product is unopened and unused and the seal remains intact
b. The Product remains in its original packaging
c. A request for return, and refund has been made within 10 days from date of receipt to care@durva.life with the relevant order information included.

3. Refunds for return orders will not be accepted if:
a. Upon inspection, the Product is damaged, the seal opened or tampered with in any way
b. The Product is returned without its original packaging
c. The request of return and refund has been made after the 10 day period post receipt of the Product

1.1 Listing and display of a Product by us on the Website is our invitation to you to make an offer for purchase of such Product. Likewise, the placement of an order on the Website by you is your offer to buy the Product(s) from us. Once you have placed an order with us for purchase of a Product, you will receive an e-mail and/or mobile confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order (the “Order Confirmation”). The Order Confirmation is merely an acknowledgement that we have received your order and does not signify our acceptance of your offer.

1.2 We only accept your offer and conclude the contract of sale for a Products ordered by you, when the Product is shipped or dispatched to you and an e-mail confirmation and/or confirmation to your registered mobile number is sent stating that the Product has been shipped or dispatched (the “Shipment Confirmation”). We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order for any reason whatsoever before sending Shipment Confirmation to you. If your order is dispatched in more than one package, you may receive separate Shipment Confirmations for each package, and each Shipment Confirmation and corresponding dispatch will conclude a separate contract of sale between you and us for the Product(s) specified in that Shipment Confirmation.

1. Subject to Clause 1.4 below, we shall accept only the following unused Products for returns or replacement:
a. Physically damaged Product delivered;
b. Where the complete Product has not been delivered;
c. Where the Product is different from description on the Website;
d. Wrong quantity received; and
e. Product delivered post its expiration date.


1.3 You must notify us in writing on at care@durva.life within 10 (ten) days of the date of receipt of the Product and must not consume and/or utilize the Product for being eligible for the return or replacement. In your email, please use the subject “Return of Order [Order No.]” and provide your name, contact information and shipping address. Further, if a return or replacement request is made more than 10 (ten) days from the date of receipt of the Product, we will not be able to process such return or refund request.

1.4 In the event that no such written notification is received by us within the time period mentioned above and/or the Product is consumed and/or if the Product was purchased using the cash on delivery (COD) option, we shall not be required to accept the return or exchange of the Product. It is clarified that if an order is placed on the Website using the cash on delivery (COD) option, we reserve the right to accept your return/exchange requests only in exceptional cases.

1. Upon receipt of a return request from you within the period mentioned in Clause 1.4 above, we shall collect the Product from you through its logistics partner at our own cost and inspect the product as provided in Clause 1.7 below.

2. Upon receipt of the Product, if you wish to return or exchange, we reserve the right to inspect the Product to verify whether it exhibits any defect or damage as outlined in Clause 1.4 above. Additionally, we will assess whether the Product has been consumed or used. This inspection will determine your eligibility for a return or replacement.

3. Upon inspection of the Product as provided in Clause 1.7 above, if we are of the opinion that the returned Product is not defective/damaged as per the order placed;

4. The returned Product has been consumed or utilized or opened (with seal removed) or altered;

5. Original packaging of the returned Product is missing;

6. damage request is raised after more than 10 (ten) days after the date of receipt of the Product,

7. for a reason other than manufacturing defect;
then, you will be informed about the same and the same Product will be reshipped to your shipping address. You will have to bear the shipment charges for the reshipped Product.

1.5 In the event, where after the inspection of the returned Product we find that the Product is defective/damaged/not as per the order placed and/or the Product has not been consumed or utilized, and accept your return/exchange claim, we shall (i) in case of an exchange request placed, provide you with a replacement product within 3-5 business days of receipt of request; or (ii) in case of a return request placed, refund the payment made by you at the time of purchase of the Product in accordance with the refund policy.

1.6 In the event that you choose not to fill the Questionnaire and/or fix a consultation appointment with the registered medical practitioner recommended by us and have written to us at care@durva.life to claim refund for the order so placed in accordance with the terms of this Policy, you must immediately return the unused Products in the manner indicated by us. In the event, where after the inspection of the returned Product, we find that the Product has not been consumed, or utilized we shall refund the payment made by you at the time of purchase of the Product in accordance with this policy. In the event that no such written notification is received by us and/or the Product is consumed and/or the Product is not returned in the manner indicated by us, we shall not be required to accept the return of the Product.

1. All decisions in relation to the returns/exchange requests made by us shall be final and binding. You agree not to challenge such a decision in any manner whatsoever.

1.7 Refund Policy

1. Only those Products for which (i) a return or exchange request has been placed by you as per this Policy and for which (a) the replacement is not possible; or (b) a replacement is not asked for; or (ii) a cancellation request has been initiated by us or has been placed by you as per the cancellation policy laid down in clause 3; or (iii) a refund request has been placed in accordance with clause 1.4 above, you will be eligible for a refund. Details in relation to such refunds shall be informed to you through your registered e-mail. We reserve the right to honour such refund requests in a manner as we deem fit and it is clarified that such refund requests shall be accepted by us only in exceptional cases. You agree not to challenge such a decision in any manner whatsoever.

1.8 Online Refunds

1. In case the payment mode of the returned or cancelled order is online (credit card/debit card/net banking/virtual payment wallets) the transaction amount will be refunded to your bank account or the virtual payment wallets, as may be applicable.

2. Refund will be done within 5-7 business days from the date of request of return/cancellation (other than for refund requests placed in accordance with Clause 1.8 above), if found eligible.

1.9 Offline Refunds

1. In case the payment mode of the returned order is cash on delivery (COD), the transaction amount will be, at our option, provided to you as credit to purchase any other Products on the Website.

2. Provision of such credit vouchers, as we may deem fit, will be done within 7-10 business days from the date of request of return/cancellation, (other than for refund requests placed in accordance with Clause 1.10 above), if found eligible.

4. Whilst describing the Products available for purchase on the Website, we have taken all care and precaution to be as accurate as possible. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content on the Website is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. In the event that a Product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to an error in pricing or product information, we may, at its discretion, either contact you for instructions or cancel the order and notify you of such cancellation. In such cases we will refund the transaction amount to you (only for which the payment is already received) in a manner as we may deem fit.

2.0 Cancellation Policy

1. If you place an order and due to some reason (unexpected lack of inventory or any other reason) we are not able to ship the Product, the order will be cancelled and the transaction amount, if already paid, will be refunded to you as per the refund policy.

2. There may be certain orders and/or subscription service that we may be unable to accept and must cancel, including but not limited to, instances where that the registered medical practitioner (recommended by us) is of the opinion that the Product/s so ordered are not suited to your health needs (based on your responses to the Questionnaire). We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order and/or subscription service for any reason whatsoever at our sole discretion.

3. Some situations that may result in your order being cancelled include, without limitation, non-availability of the Products or quantities of Products ordered by you, non-availability of the services on the Website, inaccuracies or errors in pricing information, or due to a Force Majeure Event.

4. We may also require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. We will contact you if all or any portion of your order is cancelled or if additional information is required to accept your order. If your order is cancelled after you have been charged, the transaction amount will be refunded to you as per the refund policy.

5. A “Force Majeure Event” for the purpose of these Terms shall mean any event that is beyond our reasonable control and shall include, without limitation, sabotage, fire, flood, explosion, acts of God, civil commotion, strikes, lockouts or industrial action of any kind, riots, insurrection, war, acts of government, computer hacking, civil disturbances, unauthorised access to computer data and storage device, computer crashes, breach of security and encryption, pandemic or national/state lockdown due to any reason and any other similar events not within our control and which we are not able to overcome.

6. In case of requests for order cancellations, we reserve the right to accept or reject requests for order cancellations for any reason whatsoever. As part of usual business practice, if we receive a cancellation notice and the order has not been processed/approved or dispatched by us, we shall cancel the order and refund the transaction amount (if already paid) to you as per the refund policy. However, we will not be able to cancel orders that have already been processed or have been dispatched. We have the full right to decide whether an order has been processed/dispatched or not. You agree not to dispute the decision made by us and accept our decision regarding the cancellation.
